Head further south along the walking trail and you get stunning views all the way down the south west coast towards Contos. Gnarabup Lookout sits well above Gnarabup Beach carpark and cafe and offers spectacular views north to Surfers Point and Rivermouth surf breaks in addition to all the way in which south along the coast. There are paths alongside the headland which also supply great vantage points. When leaving Margaret River we headed south alongside Bussell Highway straight for Augusta. We explored right here in the summertime so we missed the whale migration- totally bummed about that. I guess which means we will be coming back here within the cooler months… with loads of jumpers!!!

Not far out of Dwellingup lies the Captain Fawcett Track which runs through to Quindanning. It follows the Murray river, and is a picturesque observe with a quantity of spots you can cease along the track. It’s a superb spot to catch a Pilbara sundown, thanks to the red dust that surrounds the town and seems to soften into the sun’s yellow tones because it sets. Eagle Bluff includes a 400-metre boardwalk with views of the Useless Loop salt pile and two limestone islands just offshore.

Plan to enjoy your journey and take the time to examine out some (or all) of those highlights along the southern shoreline and benefit from your journey. However, if you need to experience a few of Western Australia’s beautiful pure and cultural treasures, hop on National Route 1 and travel from Albany to Esperance. Whether you want to explore along with your important other or pack up Gran and the kiddos for a household highway journey, Western Australia is a treasure trove of natural wonders, terrific seashores, and friendly people.
